SUMMARY:Standing united against global backlash
DESCRIPTION:Podiumsgespräch mit Vertreter*innen aus allen Kontinenten \nKollaborationspartner*innen des Global LGBTIQ+ Health Project aus Afrika\, Asien\, Europa\, Nordamerika\, Lateinamerika und Ozeanien geben Einblicke in die Situation vor Ort. Es wird dargelegt\, weshalb sie am Projekt teilnehmen und warum die internationale Zusammenarbeit von zentraler Bedeutung ist. Im Fokus stehen die Förderung der Gesundheit aller Menschen sowie die Ermöglichung gesellschaftlicher Teilhabe. Ebenso wird die Bedeutung von Solidarität innerhalb der LGBTIQ-Community und darüber hinaus – etwa durch Allies – hervorgehoben. Zudem wird aufgezeigt\, mit welchen Herausforderungen die Partner*innen in ihren Ländern aktuell konfrontiert sind\, insbesondere im Kontext politischer und gesellschaftlicher Entwicklungen\, und weshalb globale Zusammenarbeit notwendig ist. \n— \nCollaborative partners of the Global LGBTIQ+ Health Project from Africa\, Asia\, Europe\, North America\, Latin America\, and Oceania provide insights into their local situations. They explain why they are participating in the project and why international collaboration is of central importance. The focus is on promoting the health of all people as well as enabling social participation. Furthermore\, the importance of solidarity within the LGBTIQ community and beyond – such as through allies – is highlighted.
